Elaine on the up coming shows and previous ones

I will be interviewed by Dini Petty on CFRB Radio from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. EST (AM 1010). This is a Canadian radio station which emanates from Toronto, ON. The dates of the two interviews are: Saturday, November 27th, 2004 and Saturday, December 4, 2004.

Dini Petty is an institution in Canada. Her TV program was known far and wide and was on CTV, Toronto (nationwide) for many years. Dini was the first media person to interview me and I was invited back for 3 additional programs. Each time, Dini would call me (sometimes the very last moment) and ask me to bring me people who had success on SCD and I would scurry around and make calls far and wide. And each time, people responded (some coming with babes in arms) from long distances and would appear with me.

The funniest thing happened when my daughter, Judy, brought her two children to the studio. Matt was about 5 and Meg was about 2. As usual, there was SCD food to pass around the audience. When the plate of cookies reached our Meg (who was then a carb addict), she pushed them away right before the camera!!! She and I have a good laugh when we discuss it now - her appreciation of SCD has grown these past years! Lucy Rosset has tapes of these TV shows and I think she can make copies should anyone want them. I think they are priceless. I must say that there are few Dini Pettys! By her having me as a guest those early years, she saved many people from years of suffering. Thank you
