SCD Report is accepted for Publication in Tennessee Medicine Roger Jackson MD, (who’s wife, Cecilia, is well as a result of SCD after ten years of suffering) compiled about 50 cases of recovery with SCD for IBD (from the survey form on this site - Survey). He tabulated them along with follow ups, medications, colonoscopic reports, etc. Dr. Raquel Nieves, 2nd year pediatric resident who was also helped by SCD collaborated with him. Dr Nieves studied pediatric gastroenterology and graduated from Boston university School of medicine. Together they submitted the report to several medical journals and Tennessee Medicine has now accepted it for publication. See Letter of acceptance below. It will be called I am pleased to inform you that I have accepted your manuscript entitled “Specific Carbohydrate Diet in Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease” for publication in Tennessee Medicine.
